William M. Schmidt is the Founder and President of Pragmatics International, LLC. Bill has executive experience with clients and in operating companies. He has helped clients and companies with international expansion, strategic planning, market development, new products, new markets, new businesses, major international investments, mergers and acquisitions, and interim management. Bill has also helped companies and clients during stressful periods for corporate restructurings, cost containment programs, spin-offs, operations improvements and outsourcing.

Bill is able to draw on experiences from multiple industries. This includes high technology; industrial products and services; engineered materials, products, and services; financial services; consumer products; business services; building materials, light manufacturing and others.

Mr. Schmidt’s corporate career includes Dun& Bradstreet/Moody’s Investors Service/William E. Hill & Co., International Paper, US Industries, Combustion Engineering/ABB, NBS Technologies and Europe’s “high tech darling” (quoting The Financial Times) Gemplus International SA, (now Gemalto). Clients include large Fortune 500 or equivalent businesses, conglomerates, divisions of large companies, Private Equity owned businesses and a number of small emerging businesses. At times, Mr. Schmidt has joined management teams to help implement programs or initiatives. Many of Bill’s clients return to him for additional help.

Bill holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance and Commerce. He is on the Board of Directors of Curbing Hunger, Inc. and The Trilogy Repertory Company, and Bill is a member of The Executive Forum, The Global Sourcing Council and Highpoint. Mr. Schmidt is listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World.

Daniel R. Delmar is the President and Founder of Corporate Strategy Consulting LLC and has spent most of his career in consulting. He helps high technology and industrial clients with breakthrough growth strategies, marketing initiatives, new products and services, new businesses, and mergers and acquisitions. He has helped many companies with international growth and strategic business issues. He has also spent a number of years in senior management positions with leading technology based companies.

Dan’s corporate career includes, recently, six years as an executive in IBM’s Corporate Strategy department. He led project teams on growth opportunities, IBM/competitive strategies, customer needs, solutions, and market and industry trends. Earlier in his career, Mr. Delmar was the Vice President of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development at Carrier Corporation, a division of United Technologies.

As President of Corporate Strategy Consulting LLC for over ten years, Mr. Delmar has advised clients such as Hitachi, Verizon, Computer Associates, Lexis-Nexis, ITT, Church & Dwight, Aeroquip, Alcatel, Invensys, and KPG. He also consulted at Accenture Strategic Services for clients such as AT&T, NYNEX, Xerox and PPG and while at Bain & Company for clients such as Monsanto, Black & Decker and Morton.

Mr. Delmar holds an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a BS from Yale University. He is on the Executive Board of the Yale Science and Engineering Association; Former President, Wilton Library Board of Trustees; and speaks French.

Tully Moss is the President of The Magellan Alliance. Tully has assisted clients with marketing issues, competitive positioning, business unit strategy, organizational effectiveness, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Moss’s consulting work has taken him to Europe, Latin America and Asia. He currently is spending considerable time in Asia providing both consulting services and corporate learning and development services. This includes teaching leadership, innovation, globalization, customer-centricity, and change management.

Tully’s domain expertise is broad, having consulted in over thirty different industries. Within financial services, he has consulted extensively in property insurance, health insurance, and mortgage securitization. Other service businesses include gas utilities, telecommunications, outsourcing, behavioral health, and commercial data services. Manufacturing industries have included chemicals, forest products, medical equipment, and high technology. On the non-profit side, he has consulted for educational institutions, the American Red Cross, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Tully began his consulting career with the New York office of Hayes/Hill, Inc. He was a partner at that firm when it was sold to Towers Perrin (now Towers Watson). He worked for the Cresap general management consulting division of Towers Perrin for a number of years before establishing his own consulting firm, The Magellan Alliance.

Mr. Moss holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His bachelor’s degree is from Williams College, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, with honors. After Williams, he lived for two years in Hong Kong, teaching at a Chinese college under a YALI fellowship.

Paul A. Droar is the Managing Director of Droar & Associates LLC. Paul brings problem solving skills, strategic development and implementation expertise (North & South America, Europe and Japan) gained from more than twenty years of management consulting and executive management positions in the U.S. and internationally. As a consultant, this includes developing marketing and technology transfer strategies, technology valuations, acquisition & venture financing.

Paul has served clients in multiple industries - specialty chemicals, electronics chemicals, ceramics, metals, nanotechnology; energy & environmental technologies - fuel cells, solar, wind & wave power, clean coal; automotive and aerospace/defense. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to startups, privately held investment groups and technology centers.

Preceding his consulting career, Paul held executive positions with International Paint Company (now a subsidiary of Akzo) in the U.S. and general management positions with Bridon PLC’s engineering group. Within International Paint he managed and directed the firm’s core heavy marine coatings marketing & technical functions; prior to this position Paul was Director of Corporate Development responsible for the firm’s US M&A function. For Bridon, Paul was the President of Ashlow Corp., a steel and oilfield equipment manufacturer in the US; Deputy Managing Director of the UK parent company; before that he was the Managing Director of Danite Hard Metal Ltd, a UK company manufacturing specialty metals and ceramics.

Mr. Droar holds an MBA degree from Manchester School in England and BA and MA degrees in Natural Sciences from Cambridge where he majored in Metallurgy and Material Science. He is a US citizen. Paul is also the Vice Chair of St. John’s College (Cambridge University) US Alumni committee. He remains an avid squash player and has been nationally ranked in the US.
